hibiscus tea has many great benefits. Make this with either fresh or dried flowers and choose to drink it as a hot cup of tea or as hibiscus iced tea. either way it's wonderful and incredibly good for you!
2cupsFresh Hibiscus Flowers or half cup dried Hibiscus Flowers
3tbspFresh Lime Juice
¼cupHoneyyou cann add more if you want
8cupsof water
Instructions
If you are using hibiscus flowers, remove the calyx or the green section at the flower's base. You can also remove, which is a slender thread-like tube in the center of the flower with pollen attached. If you are using dried flowers, you don't need to do this step.
Bring hibiscus flowers and water to a boil. When the water boils, turn off the heat and cover the pot. You can now add other herbs or ingredients like basil, lemon grass, lemon zest, etc. Steep it for 15-20 minutes. Mix in the honey and lime juice till fully combined. strain the tea

Hibiscus tea can be served either hot or cold, depending on your preference. Either way it tastes fantastic!
